Who we are

We’re Matthew Goodman, Dana Dzick, Kalobb Brown, and Zach Church. We share a strong passion for live entertainment, hospitality, and building community here in downtown Waterloo. Over the years, we’ve been actively involved in local music, cultural events, and fundraising efforts, and we’ve built lasting relationships with artists, nonprofits, and fellow small businesses throughout the area. Our goal with The Loft is to create a friendly, welcoming space where people can come together for great drinks, live shows, league nights, and memorable experiences. We’re committed to keeping The Loft community-focused, entertainment-driven, and always worth the trip downtown.
